Fishermans Bend Campus

Value  $200M+

The Fishermans Bend precinct will soon be home to UoM’s new, world-class engineering and design campus. With Stage 1 expected to open in 2026, this ambitious project will transform the 7.2-hectare site in Melbourne’s industrial heartland into an engineering and design super-hub, where research, education and industry can collide and collaborate.

The new space will allow for large-scale research and innovation that can’t be accommodated on the Parkville campus, such as wind and water tunnels, and electric vehicle and engine propulsion testing. It will boast major interactive spaces and state-of-the-art facilities purpose-built for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning (ABP), with space for industry to co-locate.

Broadleaf Projects has been engaged to provide project management assistance for various stages of this exciting development, including Soil Remediation (Stage 1), Remediation and Demolition (Stages 2 and 3), Early Start FEIT Future Laboratory and broader Campus Development (Stage 1) involving coordination and enabling works with Development Victoria.
